“Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.”
― Shannon L. Alder
A funeral is taking place, but it is not a typical funeral. Lively music is playing in the background, friends and guest have attended not wearing black, but wearing colourful dresses and clothes. It’s an open funeral; even the homeless people have attended.
People seem to be friendly, smiling, sharing stories of their memory of the deceased person. Even though some can be seen crying, it doesn’t seem to be tears of mourning, or an effect of the occasion, but rather tears of positive memories they’ve experienced.
